All kinds of events are welcome at California Ranch Events from corporate to weddings and mindfulness retreats. Unlike many historic venues, this one has a relaxed flexibility toward new and creative purposes.
The historic charm and open space at California Ranch Events just begs for creativity + offers up a ton of beautiful light and rolling hills. The fifth generation owner, Christianna, who happens to be a yoga teacher, opened up the ranch as a venue and offers yoga for any event but loved teaching brides and their crew for the big day. Talk about the magic elixir for a chilled out bride!
Christianna and her husband are bringing new life while honoring and preserving the history of the ranch. Burning Man was the honeymoon destination for the young couple accompanied by a trusty Stout tent. This was the source of inspiration for a glamping village! Along with a charming farmhouse and cabins, celebrations here can be transformed into a full-on weekend retreat.
There is a story around every corner. Wheat that won a gold medal at the Pairs World's Fair in 1900 is now being regrown and repurposed with an exciting future - wheat whiskey! The family is in the process to become a ranch distillery so they can make it themselves.
The charming 1890's ranch house is an option for getting ready or as a home-base for a larger event out by the barn. The large windows allow natural light to flood into the spaciousness created from from high ceilings, an open floor plan and hardwood floors. Inside the house, there is enough space for 12 comfortably at the dining table. The front porch can accommodate up to 60 seated.

The iconic barn was built in the 1860's. Gatherings can take place downstairs in the barn which was home to a team of horses, or upstairs in the old hay loft (upstairs is limited to 40).
An outdoor deck named the 'palapa' serves a variety of purposes from team building or dancing to lounge and yoga.
An 1860's old-redwood bunkhouse converted to a music studio is also a versatile space. We've hosted many guest musicians for creating, recording or shooting music. It also serves as a killer groomsmen room so the ladies can use the house.
