Welcome to Dreamer's Ranch; a charming 1953 horse ranch just 2.5 miles from the center of town. Enjoy the quiet of the desert with stunning panoramic views of the Little San Bernadino Mountains, directly facing the National Park.
The Ranch has a very open, spacious layout with almost 1300 square feet of space. It's design evokes the era of the '50's with all original appliances, vaulted, wood beamed ceilings and a breakfast bar countertop. If you are looking for a truly authentic rustic ranch with all of the decor and style reminiscent of that era, this is the place for you.
When you step out onto the front porch, you stare at the Joshua Tree National Park, approximately four miles ahead.
The view truly allows you to take a deep breath and let go of all stress and worry. It's unobstructed, looking out onto the Little San Bernadino Mountains. At sunset, the sun bounces off of the actual rock faces of the Joshua Tree National Park.
On the ground, the original stables still stand. you are more than welcome to stroll the 1.3 acres of land that the house sits on.
Outback, there is a trail leading to a fire pit. Sit under the stars, stare at the Milky Way, get lost in the cosmic wonderfulness that is Joshua Tree.
My favorite part of the property is the fact that while you are so close to everything, it's still fairly secluded. There is a peaceful, serene quiet to the entire property, minimal neighbors and views for days.
There is a lock box on the side porch. I will provide you with the code upon booking.
Interaction with Guests
Please feel free to contact me at any point during your stay, or prior to booking. I am happy to answer any and all questions.
The house is exactly 2.8 miles from the Joshua Tree Saloon, Yoga Studio, Joshua Tree Coffee Company. It is the perfect spot to feel remote, without actually being too remote.
Best to use a car, but you can certainly bike to and from the house easily to get in to town.
Other Things to Note
The refrigerator is an original Philco from the 1950's. So please be mindful when opening and closing the door.
If you open the windows, please be sure to wind them all the way back and make sure they are fully closed. They are on a hand crank.
- When using the Fire Pit, be mindful to cover the fire. By law, all fires must be contained as we are in the desert and the winds can kick up. So just keep the grate on top of the fire pit when using.
Of course, I will be available for any questions you may have in regards to the above.+ More
