The Red Coat is a beautifully restored century home, circa 1901, nestled among the hills of the Niagara Escarpment, just a short drive down the beautiful Niagara River Parkway in charming historic Queenston. Featuring three luxuriously appointed rooms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and high speed wireless internet. A guest lounge is available on the main floor and gourmet breakfasts are served in our lovely Dining room including Niagara's best seasonal fruits and fresh baked goods. Choose to relax, dine or meet guests on one of the porches overlooking the Niagara River.
Bed Size And Features
The Brock suite is located on the second floor and features a sitting area and a covered porch off the room. A great place to relax with a glass of wine before going out to dinner. This room has a stand up shower with a built in seat in the ensuite bathroom. The Brock suite has one queen size bed with two side tables and lamps, flat screen television, mini fridge, kettle, ironing board and iron. Wine glasses and wine opener are also available in your room for your use. This room sleeps 2 people.
There is a minimum two night on Friday and Saturday from June 15 - October 23.

The Red Coat, located within the township of Niagara on the Lake, is centrally located between Shaw Theatres, shops, golf courses, Casino Niagara and Niagara Falls. Follow the Niagara Wine Trail to over thirty estate wineries offering tours and wine tasting. If you enjoy the outdoors, hike, jog or bike along one of the many trails including the Bruce trail which begins at the base of our driveway! A free boat launch is also just a block away from our home.
Our property, like Niagara on the Lake, is rich in history and situated on the grounds of one of the important battles in Canadian history, the War of 1812. The Red Coat is a historical term used to refer to soldiers of the British Army because of the red uniforms formerly worn by the majority of regiments. Our home is within walking distance to many National Historic sites including: Laura Secordâ??s homestead, The Mackenzie Printery and The Brock Monument situated in the beautiful Queenston Heights Park.
