There are many beaches to enjoy on your summer vacation including the Sand Beach. Have a relaxing, stress-free and refreshingly unique beach experience on The Sand Beach. Walk upon the sand, collect some shells, and watch marine life thrive; crabs, mussels, and sea urchins for example.
Coming to Acadia for the Cottage Life
The Acadian National Park features great mountains for anyone who wants to see the great outdoors from a different perspective. You can see a great many pine forests, not to mention get a good work while you hike on the many trails. Not too far from the Acadian National Park is a place to get away called Northeast Harbor, a village in Mount Desert.
While you’re near the water, don 't miss out on whale and puffin watching. This is a unique experience to see these massive sea creatures. If you're looking for somethign more active test out your seakayaking skills.
