Falcon Lake, Manitoba

Falcon Lake is located in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, 120 km east of Winnipeg, in the southeastern part of the Canadian province of Manitoba.

In the summer, go sailing or boardsailing at the Falcon's Sailing Club, scuba dive, golf, canoe, hike, ride your favourite horse at Riding Stables at Falcon, go camping, and enjoy the many lakes and natural attractions in the area - such as the boreal forest, Sampson's Cove, and the various archeological sites in Whiteshell Provincial Park.

In the spring, be sure to visit the Alf Hole Goose Sanctuary, where you can gaze close-range at the flock of 200 geese that return to the area each year. In the summer, check out the visitor centre's various interpretive events, as well as its exhibitions of the sanctuary's history and of Goose biology.
