Pride of Kings County
Kings County holds the record for building one of the biggest ships in the world - the Kings County. It also has the largest sawmill in all of PEI. Not bad for a small rural county!
Montague is the biggest town in Kings County and offers all the conveniences of a big city: two big supermarkets, hardware stores, banks and fine restaurants.
Come to Montague around Canada Day, and you can enjoy a weeklong celebration known as Montague Days. Montague Days begins on Canada Day and goes on for a week full of great activities and entertainment - such as the Miss Montague Contest, fireworks, live concerts, and a pet parade!
