All the Tools You Need to Become a Successful Property Owner.

Owen Sound, Ontario

Owen Sound - also known as "The Sound" and "The Scenic City" - is located in southwestern Ontario. It is the county seat of Grey County.

Cottager's Delight

The Canadian artist Tom Thompson conveyed the beauty of his hometown of Owen Sound more than our words can here.... And, indeed, you can see his work for yourself in the Tom Thompson Art Gallery, of which Owen Sound is very proud.

Furthermore, enjoy the natural beauty of The Sound by taking a boat out. If you enjoy fishing, Owen Sound is known for having the biggest Rainbow Trout in the world. You can even take part in the annual fishing derbies - which attract fishermen from all over North America.

Owen Sound in Winter

In the winter, Owen Sound offers great skiing opportunities. The Talisman and Beaver Valley attract many tourists, as do a number of snow mobile trails.

Owen Sound's Christmas and Chanukah celebration - The Festival of Northern Lights - is a must-see. Come down to the Sound anytime from November to January, and watch the Northern Lights fill the sky with their brilliant colours. You'll even see the Christmas tree and Star of David in bright and vivid colours.

Photo Opportunities

Bring your camera, and check out the Billy Bishop Home/Museum, the MS Chi-Cheemaun car ferry, and the Owen Sound Harbour.
