Owen Sound, Ontario
Owen Sound - also known as "The Sound" and "The Scenic City" - is located in southwestern Ontario. It is the county seat of Grey County.
The Canadian artist Tom Thompson conveyed the beauty of his hometown of Owen Sound more than our words can here.... And, indeed, you can see his work for yourself in the Tom Thompson Art Gallery, of which Owen Sound is very proud.
Furthermore, enjoy the natural beauty of The Sound by taking a boat out. If you enjoy fishing, Owen Sound is known for having the biggest Rainbow Trout in the world. You can even take part in the annual fishing derbies - which attract fishermen from all over North America.
