Regina, nicknamed "The Queen City," is the second largest city in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

It is also the province's capital.Regina is located in the southern part of Saskatchewan. It is an important cultural and urban centre both for Canada and its neighbouring US states, Montana and North Dakota.

What to Do in Regina?

When vacationing in Regina, you'll find a good mix of Canadians and Americans. Among the many tourist attractions, be sure to check out the museum of the Royal Canadian Mountain Police (RCMP), and the museum of natural history - the Royal Saskatchewan Museum.

Also, try to catch a Saskatchewan Roughriders football game at the Mosaic stadium. Sunday mornings, drop by the Knox-Metropolitan United Church in downtown Regina, and listen to music from the biggest pipe organ in the city!

A. In 1882, Regina was named after Queen Victoria - Victoria Regina - by her daughter Princess Louise, who was the wife of Marquess of Lorne, the Governor General at the time.
