Nicely updated but overpriced
Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 young adults) stayed 8 nights on the 11th floor. It was nicely updated, clean & well cared for; the perfect size for 6 people to hang out in. The air conditioning was nice to have. As of this date, the pictures on the website depict the condo well (except there is no ottoman for the chair in the family room). The mirrored wall behind the couch reflects the ocean nicely. Which is the only way you see the ocean from anywhere in this unit unless you are sitting at the far end of the couch & look out the sliding glass door. If you go out onto the very small lanai (that has 4 chairs and table - too much furniture for such a small lanai) and look down you look down upon a large empty lot with debris from what appears to be remnants from where a building once was. Looking slightly right you see the ocean and also the shuffle board, small grass area, BBQ's and the pool. If you look to your left you're looking at a parking lot and in the distance green hills. The particular condo complex is a small no frills complex that was clean, quiet (other than the daily leaf blowing throughout the day and cars in the parking lot area). It has a very small pool that is approx. 4 ft. to 7 ft. in depth. We all used the pool once, our young adults where tossing a wiffle ball back & forth while in the pool (it was just the four of them & one other adult in the pool they were talking with) & were told by security that tossing a ball was not allowed. The beach area was "o.k." Within the unit, there were no beach towels, but bath towels were plentiful. It was nice having a washer & dryer in the unit to do laundry. They DO NOT provide amenities (shampoo, condition, lotion) but DO provide 2 TINY bars of soap & 4 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, as well as 2 rolls of paper towels, dish soap, garbage bag liners & dishwasher detergent, & 1 hairdryer that's it for your entire stay. There is NO beach equipment, plastic wrap, foil, sandwich bags, games, movies, paper, pens, scissors, or BBQ supplies. There is very little to do in the immediate area. For us it ended up being a place to rest/relax after a day of activities elsewhere (we had a rental car (a must) that we used daily). If you are looking for a unit that has an actual ocean view there are a lot of better options at this price point. I feel this resort is best suited for older individuals (65+) & a rental car is a must unless you plan to use a taxi.
