Enjoyed our stay!
Location can't be beat. We were able to enjoy Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park with a day trip from here. The resort provided a very helpful binder and book about the local hikes and scenic car routes. I'd recommend you review that during your stay-we learned a few new hikes to come back and explore when the snow melts thanks to those resources. The studio is beautifully done on the inside. It's not cluttered, it was very clean, and spacious for a studio rental. Can't thank you enough for accepting dogs. There's a sweet dog named Abby as well as a whole bunch of cats & kittens that snuggle around the studio. Our dog loved it here, perhaps even more than we did. The kitchen was stocked with more than I was expecting. There's a deck with a view outside the sliding back door with a large grass field below for the dogs. The temperature control is fantastic and the place was toasty! Only downside is the state drought-its effects tragically show on the lake on the property. Let's hope for a lot of rain and snow in 2016. Thank you, Rifka! You were responsive and helpful. Would certainly stay again.
