We recently stayed at this location for a week and had a wonderful time. This condo is close to everything and was very clean and comfortable. The superintendant in the building was very friendly and helpful as well. We enjoyed being able to walk to Tim Horton's, Superstore and the liquor store! There is a lovely park just down the road and harbour is within walking distance. The Farmers Market located near Peir 21 is a must see. I only wish we had more time as it is only open on Saturdays and we stumbled upon it on our first day and it was closing soon. The condo had all the amenities that are necessary. The beds were comfortable and rooms were nice and large and set a good distance apart for privacy. The iron was not working but I notified the owners so I am sure they will take care of it. Kurtis and Tiffany (the owners) were easy to reach by email if necessary. One slight negative (for us) was that there was no air conditioning. While the condo does have a fan in each bedroom we were quite uncomfortable. I have been told by friends that have travelled to Halifax that normally the temperatures are cooler at night and being near the water there isn't much need for air conditioning but if you are used to air conditioning it is just something to be aware of. We enjoyed travelling to Joggins Cliffs, Peggy's Cove, L'Acadie, Dartmouth and of course touring around Halifax. It is a beautiful province and well worth the trip. We did the Murphy's Whale Watch boat tour and unfortunately we didn't see any whales. We asked one of the fellows on the boat and he said there hadn't been any sightings for a week! Leave the whale watching to Boston, Mass. Hopper boat tour was not really worth the money for the one exciting moment when the truck turns into a boat and floats out into the harbour and then turns around and comes back. Oh, one more thing to mention which is not a negative just a point. The underground parking is quite tight and we had rented a big SUV! If and when we return and YES we would stay here again we would rent a smaller car to make parking a little easier! Also, Halifax downtown is very busy so a smaller car would have made parallel parking on the street a little less stressful! All in all a great place to stay, would and have recommended it already to people and would not hesitate to stay again. Glad we stayed here.
