Beautiful and well maintained
Just as described and illustrated in the pictures, this is a well maintained home on the northwest side of the lake. Brian was very professional and accommodating. He quickly responded to my inquiry and within 48 hours I had received all the instructions necessary to find and access the home. Thankfully his instructions were spot-on as we arrived at 1am after a 13-hour drive and it is quite dark in that area. (Great star-gazing!) Everything functioned well in the home except for the fireplace. Beds were quite comfortable, master bath is huge, and kitchen is well appointed. Coffee maker is a Keurig for all you caffeine addicts so bring your K-cups. Wireless, Direct-TV, and washer/dryer worked just fine. The house was perfectly comfortable with the thermostat set at 72. (Outside temps dropped to freezing during our stay.) It is a 3-minute walk down the hill to the water's edge and a 15-minute drive into downtown Seneca. Jogging was a challenge due to the hills adjacent to the subdivision and the narrow roads in the surrounding country side. There is a 1.2 mile loop around the Seneca Recreation Complex that satisfied my daughter's cross-country training needs. We found some great hiking trails within a 20 minute drive which were listed on sctrails.net. I highly recommend the Ram Cat Social House in Seneca for a warm & friendly dining experience. Many thanks Brian for your hospitality and providing a stress free get away for our family of 6 and the dog. We became Clemson fans as we watched them beat OSU and look forward to returning during the summer as we can only imagine how much fun the lake will be when it's warm.
