My family and I rented this condo for a week. There were things that we liked: - Close to a beautiful beach. - Quiet surroundings. - Condo was VERY well stocked with all the amenities a family would need. They really thought of everything it was remarkable. - Plenty of bedding, towels, etc. - Serviceable kitchen with all the supplies needed. - The transactions with the owners were straightforward. Things we didn't like: - Amazingly shabby condo, carpets, showers, mattresses. - The complex was built in the seventies and it shows. - Although it said no pets, lots of permanent residents had pets (it was lovely to be awakened every morning by the yapping of a small dog that one of the neighbors had) - This is not a luxurious condo, it is basically an apartment complex, and it feels as such. - This is a blue collar area, not a luxury part of the Santa Barbara coast. - Walking to the beach is not a convenient route, but a navigation, partly past the state park with all the campers, and tents and barbecues. Neither this condo or the area was what we were expecting from the glowing description of the owners. We own a home, and left our nice house to vacation in an APARTMENT COMPLEX. To me vacations are supposed to be nicer places then your own not worse ones. I would not go back to this condo and would not recommend it to anyone else.
