Affordable room at a resort right on the ocean
We stayed in this room the last week of March for our kids spring break. This was an affordable room and spacious enough for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens). The pool is very big. The kitchen in this room was stocked well enough that we cooked breakfast most mornings and cooked a couple frozen pizzas. There is also a microwave. There were a couple coffee pots (you need to bring your own coffee filters). Fitness room is very outdated, treadmills looked like they were from the 80's. The elevators are slow. In fact, the elevators were out of order a couple times during our 7 night stay. We almost always used the stairs instead of bothering with them. Im not sure when the room was rented out before our time there, but it was dusty. There was an unpleasant smell when we first walked in and found out it was coming from the closet. We had the glass doorwall open everytime we were in the room so the smell improved although you could still smell it if you opened the closet door. Toliet seat could stand to be replaced and the tub was peeling. The kitchen lights burnt out during our stay but the owner came the same day to replace them. There were bulbs burnt out in the lamp above the couch so we did not use it. I discovered on our last day there while putting away the drying rack for dishes that there was a small leak under the sink. Overall it was affordable for our family of 5 and suited our needs for the week. Afterall we did not go to this resort on the ocean to sit in the room all week. We were out and about everyday. Just a heads up...if your not in the parking garage at least by 7:00 every evening you will have a hard time finding a parking spot in there. We didnt always get to park on our floor which was fine. -Amy Howell MI
