Cozy and WONDERFUL lake house
I loved staying at this house! It is tucked away on part of the lake that is quiet and somewhat secluded. There are many spots to hang out, like the backyard with the hot tub and swing, the hammock, down by the lake, or my favorite which was on the deck overlooking the lake. Loved the amenities. It was beautiful watching the moon rise through the trees at night while in the hot tub. Somehow I missed on the info that they had mountain bikes but was so excited to see that when I got there! I had looked into renting a bike but it was outrageously expensive. The leaves were changing, and my friend and I enjoyed a beautiful (easy/beginner) ride through the woods. Iris and Brian were very welcoming, and they responded quickly to questions I had. They allowed me to check in a little early which was nice. I was able to bring my dog, and it was a great set up since the deck closes off on one side and is fenced on the other so he could roam the whole deck/outside area while we were there while staying close. Also, the details- the cute fall decorations, the hooks in the bedroom for wet towels/bathing suits, the glass bowl of dog treats for my pup.. perfect. I hope to come back and stay here again soon. It was the most ideal getaway from city/apartment life in Asheville. Thank you Brian and Iris! Sidenote: Someone else had mentioned that it needed WiFi. Personally I loved the fact that it didn't have WiFi. I did get a little service with Verizon which was nice.
