Great casita in a great, walkable neighborhood!
I'm so glad I chose to stay in the North Park neighborhood on our most recent trip to San Diego and especially this adorable casita! Location: It's in the North Park area. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. We walked to breakfast most of the days up on University Drive. Since it's a neighborhood, you can't get a hotel room in the area, you can only get vacation rentals like this one. There is plenty of on street parking in front of the house and since the main front house wasn't occupied, Christian just told us to park in the driveway. If you're in breweries, there are nearly a dozen brewpubs up and down 30th St. YAY! Lodging: This place is perfect for 2 people. The entrance to the property is through a separate gate on the side of the home. We felt totally safe. The space is open and bright! If you hate the sun in the morning, make sure you pull those shades down! The kitchen has everything you need. The shower has good water pressure and the shower head is high enough for someone who is 6'3". Extra Stuff: There is cable and netflix - which is a nice option. Christian was a pleasure to deal with and everything was a breeze from check-in to check-out. I did snag some lemons from the lemon tree in the backyard, I don't think Christian minded that. :) Overall, great place for the price!
