Outsourced model doesn't work
The location of the property was really great - walkable to Green Lake and ample parking. However, we were caught in a rainstorm and decided to turn on the heat. Had we been able to speak to the owner, our question would have been solved in seconds. We were reverted to an automated phone system, Pillow, that took our information. When they called back, they gave such profound advice like, "turn the switch to on". A full 20 hours later, Pillow addressed the issue. We would not book at a Pillow property in the future. We've stayed in at least 20 home rentals and have a vacation home that is listed on this site, too. I'd recommend that the owners put tea and decaf coffee out for guests in addition to sugar. As well, face washcloths would have been better than only the 4 small body towels provided. Last, since the only running water is on the second floor in the bathroom (first floor is where the coffee, micro and refrig are located), it would be ideal to have a Culligan water tank to obtain water on the first floor.
