Much needed and wonderful get away!
We stayed for 2 nights, and totally enjoyed the quiet and solitude of the cabin. The owners willingly gave us access to the creek running through their full property, as the cabin is on the large family grounds. Pleasant waterfall a little ways up the trail. According to the owner, trout can be found. The front porch was one of the most desirable spots for us, just watching fireflies, listening to the creek, and just hearing nature. There are only two minor downsides to the cabin. The main bedroom is up some stairs that can be difficult. And the bathroom is on the small side, especially the shower. Everything else makes this a place we will definitely be planning on returning to. Owners have 2 dogs that "escorted" us up to the cabin. They were very friendly, and spent a lot of time hanging around with us. Also, use google maps for gps directions, as it placed us right to the cabin. Mapquest has you taking some bad turns.
