WORST FAMILY VACATION EVER
WORST FAMILY VACATION EVER PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK WORST FAMILY VACATION EVER PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!!!! My family and I stayed at Dolomites Ranch this weekend of July 4th. I have never had to write a review like this so please undestand me, My intent is not to bash Frederico but I do want to be honest about our experience I would hate for someone else to pay good money for services that they will regret. In his statement on VRBO, Frederico states that the ranch is completely off grid and there is limited water and electricity. Ok I understand that but when your advertising a pool and hot tub it seems that you would be able to make coffee and keep the light on if you want. We'll we were not able to do that without being scolded, and I'm not exaggerating here, he actually entered the house and in a very irrate tone he told us that we didn't listen and that we were not to have lights on during the day and as soon as the coffee was done we need to unplug it. My brother in law asked him to lower his voice and to stop being disrespectful, but you could tell that he was very upset and all I could feel was that we were children being repremanded for making coffee. (Coffee is something my family enjoys it should be a part of our vacation). We barely spent any time there, Thank God my mom was staying close by so we went and stayed with her most of the day. Usually we left the cabin by 8:30am and got back around 9:30 pm and by the time we fell asleep and spent some time together we went to bed around 11:45pm, he noticed that and told us that most people who stayed there were in bed by 9pm and that we should have turned off the lights way earlier than 11:45pm. Please understand the only other appliance plugged in at this house was a radio, no TV, no game systems, so there was no way we could of been using excessive electricity. We did have to plug in my husbands Cpap machine (this is a machine that keeps him breathing at night) which turned off at 3am because the electricity was shut off. This also led to a mishap with the coffee maker in the morning, my husband is an early riser about 6am, he got the coffee ready to brew and when he went to plug it in the electricity was off, so he came back to bed, sometime before 7am.
