We were traveling to the area with 2 children (ages 6 and 3) to visit Santa's Village and Story Land. In years past we've stayed in a hotel for the trip, but were nervous that we wouldn't have enough space. We found this option and are glad that we did. The location was perfect, putting us half way between both amusement parks and the house was large enough for us to have enough room to move around. The living area and kids playroom were our favorite parts of the house (appeared to be a newer addition to the original house). We also were given the opportunity to use the playground and pool at the owner's campground just down the road, and the kids very much enjoyed participating in the fire truck ride around the campground as well. While we very much enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the owners, I did not give this five stars as there is a bit of a spider issue at the house. Daddy long legs, granted, but spiders none the less. We were ok with it overall, and I know the house is in the country, but I felt it was appropriate to include in the review in case anyone had a fear of spiders. In the mornings we would find 8 or so large daddy long legs in the bathroom and found several in the bedrooms throughout our stay. Overall, we very much enjoyed the house and our stay and the owners were exceptionally pleasant to work with.
