A really nice 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property located in a very unique part of this beautiful and historic capital City in the North Atlantic. Ideal for a small family, or a couple needing that extra bedroom for family or friends staying over. The main area also features a sofa that can convert to another sleeping area. Clean, well stocked with the amenities needed and a truly magnificent view of the famous Harbor, Signal Hill and Cabot Tower. This property is in downtown St. John's within walking distance of The Rooms, Mile One Stadium, the infamous George Street, the waterfront, downtown shopping and more. BUT...PLEASE NOTE; while the walk down is fun, the return journey is all uphill - no, seriously, UPHILL - but truly well worth the hike. Close to legendary Ches's Fish 'n Chips as well as a Tim Hortons, a Sobey's grocery store, a liquor store ... and more. Outdoor parking available for one automobile. Access to the unit involves walking up steep concrete steps outside and then up another 14 steps inside - again not very challenging (which is subjective) but worth noting. Wi Fi is included and sporadic in certain parts of the unit, but stronger in the main area. We encountered no problems whatsoever. The property Manager was fun, very friendly and available if required. Apart from the odd City siren the area was quiet and we were greeted with many smiling faces and unmistakable welcoming Newfoundland 'nods'. We felt it was worth every cent spent and have no hesitation recommending this property. The view of the City , the harbour, Signal Hill and Cabot Tower on a sunny morning from the bedroom is truly , as they say, right some nice (:
