A great place to stay after a long day on the trails
If I could give this 4.5 stars, I would. It is big, clean, and well positioned for getting on and off the trail. There's even a small room to sit and take off gear before coming in. The main room is huge with plenty of seating, the bedrooms are good sized, and the bathroom, although small, is clean. With a full sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and pizza maker, there's not much more you'll need for your snowmobile getaway. The bowling alley across the parking lot had great burgers, cold beer, and a friendly crowd. There were only a couple reasons I didn't give the Sled Stop 5 stars. The beds are not horrible, but not all that comfortable. They are fine for a few nights. Also, the 2am noise from the bowling alley/bar woke me up 2 nights in a row. I get the impression that's not a regular occurrence, but it was annoying. A little white noise from a fan would have solved the issue. And the pizza oven sets off the smoke detector. Every time. All in all, this is not a luxury stay, but it is roomy, clean, and exactly what we needed. I would stay again!
