Chris's place is tidy and clean. It's got a basic kitchen/living room/bunk bed/dining nook main room with a fireplace, a master bedroom, and a bathroom. Sleeps 5 , though 3 people sleep in a bunk with double below and single above. The location is good, and close enough though farther from the lifts than we were expecting. Probably a 5 minute walk in ski boots. Again, the hot tubs are a 5 minute walk away in a different building (the KCA), not part of the BaseCamp building. Parking was very convenient. Ample firewood, and some nice touches like WIFI and an iPod stereo docking station. Nice to be close to the General Store. Very cool that the cross country trail passes right next to the building. Chris was very prompt at communicating and we appreciated his flexibility. The only problem we experienced was that the hot water ran out just as my daughter put conditioner on her hair. Seems like they need a larger tank or to turn the temperature up so hot water lasts longer.
Walk to lifts-ski to front door on pow days! Park your car and forget it!
