The view is 5 stars!
My husband and I and our daughters stayed here over Christmas. The view is spectacular and the neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and not too far from grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. The kitchen had sufficient pots and dishes to cook up Christmas dinner, however there was only one dishcloth which made clean-up a bit difficult. Upon arriving with our groceries for 6 days, we found the refrigerator rather full (and some of it had gone bad) and had to work an engineering feat to fit it all in. There was a food processor and mixer which was very convenient to prepare the big dinner. There were no wastebaskets in the bathrooms - not a deal-killer- but inconvenient when you want to toss your dental floss or kleenex :) We noticed that some of the electrical outlets were not working in the living room. There is a terrific collection of board games which we enjoyed on Christmas eve! A Christmas tree had been set up which was a nice touch. One of my daughters was having a mysterious allergic reaction. We found the source to be a lot of pet hair in the living room carpet (perhaps the cleaning crew thought the carpet was clean enough because the fur was whitish and the carpet is light in color). The master bed was a bit soft. The bed linens on the downstairs beds did not appear to be freshly laundered. The living room couch unfolded conveniently to accommodate a surprise guest. Overall, we had a nice stay. The problems could be easily fixed by having a discussion with the cleaning crew and amending a few things.
