Delightful -but Not for Entomologists
My wife and I stayed in the cabin the first week in October. When we first approached the cabin, burrowing deep into the woods, we expected to find ourselves nestled into foliage with perfect privacy but no view. We arrived to find the hilltop cabin quaint, comfortable, and artistically charming, just as advertised. To our delight, after unpacking, upon sitting down inside, we realized that the kitchen/dining area, the living room, and the front porch shared a view that the owners or Mother Nature had cleared through the canopy and across a valley. We were treated to a view that was as beautiful at dusk as it had been at dawn. This place was everything advertised, and more. A healthy hike (but within walking distance) to the Folk School, which we attended for the week, but I did spend one entire day peacefully writing at the outdoor fire pit without a single bug distracting me. (So I wouldn't recommend the place for entomologists.)
