Nice place but watch out for extras
The pictures are accurate. It's an older place but it worked fine for me. FYI: There's no dining room table, only some seats at the counter. My main issue was she only allows for a small fixed cost for electricity if you stay for a month. This was stated in the lease agreement. So, I knew it going in, but how much electricity do I get for this small amount? Beats me... I stayed there from middle of August to early November 2015 - some of the hottest months of the year. The first electrical bill was FAR more than what was covered. And she told me about the first outrageous electricity bill well after there was anything I could do about it. So, I immediately cut back on using the AC and used the overhead fan more. That's another thing - there's very little air movement in the place. There are 2 sliding glass doors, so you would think there would be some good cross breezes. But not the way the place is laid out. To her credit, she did forgive the overage on the first bill since part of the month was not my responsibility. But she did whack me for the next month. Big question: would I stay there again? If it's in the hot months of the year and I'm staying for a month or longer - no - because of this limited amount of electricity that's covered by the rent. I still give it 3 stars b/c the place was fine and in a good location. It's just that this extra charge was very annoying and arbitrary. Again - how much electricity do you get for this small fixed amount? I don't know...
