Perfect spot for R&R
We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hostess provided a couple of amenities that were very useful additions to the cabin: use of binoculars (which I had intended to bring for several parts of the trip, but forgot) and use of a rubber kayak for my first kayak outing. The cabin is very small (essentially the size of a hotel room, with a decent small kitchen) but located right on the water. It was a joy to sit on the deck morning, afternoon, or evening and watch very little happen. On clear days the view of Mount Ranier is wonderful, and, even when it rained for part of one day, it was a great place to be. If you have any mobility issues, be sure to ask about the entrance to the cabin from the parking area, as it involves quite a few somewhat steep steps. That was not a problem for us, but it might not be the place for someone who has trouble going up and down the many steps.
