I would give zero stars if I could, as I my opportunity to stay here was taken away. I booked a stay in early January, paying for my booking the moment I was able to. I was going to stay the weekend of Feb 12-15 - my husband's birthday and Valentine's Day weekend. I am also pregnant, and it was going to be both his gift from me along with our last weekend alone together. Thursday night, I went shopping for food and supplies and took Friday off of work to leave early to get to our rental Friday afternoon. Less than an hour ago, I received an email that I just happened to check before packing my car - no phone call - simply stating that there was a maintenance issue and my booking was cancelled, and I was issued a refund. Being Valentine's weekend, I now am unable to find any available replacement as everything is booked, which is why I booked well over a month ago. I am left with no birthday gift for my husband, and no last weekend away alone together. I understand that emergencies happen, but that they are better dealt with in a more appropriate manner instead of sending a short email with little explanation. I do not consider this professional, considerate, or reliable.
