Perfect Location Great Vacation
We were in for a Softball tourney down in Boulder and we could not have been happier with our stay. The cabin was extremely nice and the pictures do not capture the beauty on the property. The living area/Kitchen were very large to accommodate our group of 7 and the bedroom layout was very nice with 3 bedrooms upstairs/1 Bath and a large master bedroom/bath on main floor-also another 1/2 bath on main floor. The sound of the river all day long and especially at night when sleeping was exceptional-not sure if I have ever slept so well. Everything you should need is in the house from kitchen/bath/laundry and even many condiments-could have used more coffee pods and toilet paper but we purchased. The ride to Boulder for the softball tourney seemed very quick-40 minutes-but very pretty so not a bad drive. There was also so much do within walking distance, which made it nice going to town so that you did not have to drive in that traffic. Downtown Estes can be walked to very easily and is a very pretty walk in the morning to Starbucks. We also hiked the Old Man Mountain property about 1/2 mile in the neighborhood-pretty easy and peaceful hike. The Rocky Mountain National Park is very close and I would recommend the Bear Lake area/Emerald/Dream Lake hikes are all very pretty-make sure to go all the way to the end of the path-well worth the view!! The outdoor patio was nice with a fire pot, BBQ, and great for sitting morning or night. Tried fishing but don't think there is any fish in that river:) Overall, this was a great experience-we loved the cabin and loved the area-I hope to visit here again very soon!!
