Great house to relax with my young family!
We recently look our family of 4, 2 kids and plus 2 scottish terriers on vacation in Palm Springs. The house was great! It was easy to find and very convenient to main road (hwy 111) but far enough that we couldn't hear the road noise. We could easily park our SUV in the garage. The house is an older home probably built in the 80's, but it appeared to be recently remodeled. It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was beautifully remodeled and fully equipped. The rest of the house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was a little nervous letting my kids or dogs near the the very nice white furniture though. The tile floors are ideal for a house with pool. The backyard was wonderful. The spa flows into the pool creating the sounds of a nice water feature. All of the main rooms of the house have doors that lead out the backyard...even the master bathroom has it's own door that leads out to the backyard. This was great, because it meant that while my kids were swimming they didn't have to walk through the house wet to use the rest room. Even though there was great access to the backyard, I still felt that my kids were safe and couldn't access the pool without a parent. From the back yard the fences are nice and high making the house very private. There is a wonderful view of the nearby mountain views. Since the entire property had a nice fence around it I felt really safe and private. I felt good letting my dogs run around the property knowing that they couldn't make their way out on to the road. The pool was our favorite part. It's a large lap pool. It was great for hot days because it has a bench of seating running the length of the pool. It easily fit rafts for my husband and I to lounge on while the kids played. It was hard to get my kids out the pool when it was finally time to go home. When we visit Palm Springs in the future, this house will be our first choice.
