Lovely, peacful property!
We stayed here for two nights and it was just wonderful! The property is clean and bright and lovely, just as described. Beautiful hardwoods and fresh paint. Both the front and back porch have peaceful sitting areas that we really enjoyed-- I found myself out there rocking with my coffee and a good book many times. The backyard is huge and well-shaded and our kids (5 and 7) loved exploring. We arrived after spending two days at a busy family reunion and this house was like a retreat. It was a great place to decompress and we were so thankful! Comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. The Ingle's grocery store right down the road is new and well-stocked. The home is well-located, about 5-6 easy miles to downtown where we visited Tupelo Honey (yum!!!), The Bee Charmer, and Malaprop's independent bookstore. We also spent a day at the Biltmore estate and a day visiting waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest, and both were very easy drives from this home. Such a great location and we could not have been happier. Brad (the owner) and his neighbor Mike (who greeted us) were lovely to work with and we highly recommend this property. It was our first time to Asheville and this house really made it a memorable trip. Marci and Tim Diehl Dallas, TX
