Clean, spacious and very nice.
Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner, and he showed us around the place. It was a very pleasant greeting. The place was quite obviously cleaned well before we had gotten into the apartment. To our surprise the owner already had many basic necessities like food, extra mattresses, shampoo, and diner-ware. This was surprising because most hotels do not offer this. The neighborhood was very quite and as stated, secluded. We were able to sleep soundly with barely any noise, most of which was ours anyway. The apartment is about 15-20 minutes away from San Diego, so it wasn't that bad of a drive there. There was parking space for 2 cars if it was necessary, and for us it was. The owner was also making improvements so the place might become better as time passes by. There was at the time, a table outside with around 6 chairs. Though not offering much, it sure beats eating in the small kitchen inside. The space was much larger and cheaper than a hotel. I would personally pick this place any time over any hotel in the city of San Diego.
