This was the most well-appointed home I have stayed in, with lots of care and attention to detail. The inside is fairly striking with a dramatic open staircase entrance, lots of stained glass, unusual light fixtures, tile, stone and woodwork. There is a gas fireplace and private bathroom in each of the three bedrooms, two of which have large balconies. The kitchen is spacious and there is a large and beautiful table adjoining for meals. In the summer months with its the hot tub and gas grill the landscaped yard would be a great place to eat and hang out. There is a grocery store located about a block away. Although it is on a busy road, none of us had trouble sleeping at night. It is not actually located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, but is less than a 10 minute drive into the village. The only real downside would be if you are traveling with toddlers, handicapped or elderly folks as the stairs are open and all the bedrooms are upstairs..
