Incredible sanctuary in Joshua Tree!
I can't say enough good things about this place. To be honest, I almost wasn't going to write a review because I don't want other people finding out about this place, but I also want Mark (The owner) to know how amazing of an experience my friends and I had out there and desperately want to come back. Let's begin with the setting: The outdoor space is fenced in on what feels like a 1/2 acre property, and it's incredible. There are views of the horizon on all sides of the property. There is an outdoor fire pit and plenty of grounds to explore. The house takes the entire experience to a whole other level -- it is immaculately decorated in vintage furniture, has three record players with lots of great records, and has two fire places to keep you warm. The kitchen is a fantastic place to make a home cooked meal, with a huge dining room table to fit all 8 guests. The place is very accessible and is close to the main strip of restaurants, vintage shops, yoga studios and indian craft stores. Mark is just a phone call away and there are lots of pamphlets at the house to give you ideas about what to do in your trip to Joshua Tree.
