We stayed at Birdie's Beachfront while our son played ball at Ripken. It is about a 15min drive to there. We've never been to Myrtle in the summer, but if we did, would like this location as it's further south and away from the craziness of the strip. This has so much to offer for a small family. It's a super convenient location to the pool and beach - short walking distance to each. The resort has a playground for kids and basketball courts. We visited the beachfront bar/restaurant next door and enjoyed an evening of acoustic guitar and some cocktails. We had lunch there one day too and the food is very good. The condo was clean, which is always most important to me. It had what we needed even though we didn't cook there ever. Nice patio that overlooks the pool and the 1st floor convenience was nice too. Everyone was pleasant and the walks on the beach and around the grounds were nice. Thank you Peter, we would definitely consider renting your place again next year when we come down in March.
