We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kipuka! So much so, we came back for 4 more nights!
Mark was so kind and generous with his time. We felt completely at ease and like we were the lucky and special ones. Our place was far better than we had imagined from the layout to the thoughtful appointments throughout. Even good literature to enjoy while we were there. The property is very special with the many varieties of palms and the rolling crushed lava hills. It was a paradise of its own. We have been home from Hawaii for one week now and we talk about when and how we can get back to our bamboo home at Kipuka. We also loved the town of Pahoa nearby and made many visits to get fresh veggies, enjoy a coffee and treat at the Tin Shack or to have a lovely meal at Kaleo. We met good people wherever we were while staying at Mark's place. Our walks to the ocean were also easy and certainly a treat to swim in such warm and wonderful waters. I think about the huge starry skies, the sounds of the frogs and the smell of the freshly rained upon palms and it's almost like being there.
