It was a good value for the price
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice vacation with our family, but would probably not stay in unit 142 again. The walls are very thin, and the layout makes the unit feel a little cramped. It says it sleeps 8, but the fold out couch in the den was broken, and the bed would not fold out completely, so it was very uncomfortable for our adult son who stayed in there. Also, he either had to use the en-suite bathroom in the twin bed room, or the bathroom that the website says is "dedicated" to the king bedroom downstairs (it's really a hallway bath) The fireplace is set in a "pit" area below the living room, so it was not really enjoyable when you were in the living room. The dining table is cramped with 6 people, forget 7! There were long black hairs all over the unit, some even came home in our things. We were hoping we would be able to cut through the woods for ski in, but there was so little snow at Mammoth this year, that we had to make the short drive to Canyon Lodge each day, but it's really close. Just not walkable in ski boots because the unit is up on a hill. Also, this unit is about as far away from the jacuzzi as you can get, but once you get there, the jacuzzi felt great. One last thing...take plenty of quarters if you want to wash, there only pay machines in the main office area, no washer/dryer in the unit.
