Gorgeous room with gorgeous views!
Absolutely loved our stay in Black Mountain. We brought our dog, Sophie, and she was pooped every day we got back from our hikes in Montreat which was less than 10 minutes from the house (by car). We were happily greeted after our long drive with bottled water, OJ, and strawberries. The carnations on the night stand were nice to see every morning too :) Loved the bathroom and bathtub. Enjoyed soaking in the tub after a long day spent in Asheville. We definitely will be back to Black Mountain, hopefully sooner than later! We loved all of the little food places in town. Check out the pizzeria mill (Jay was really great welcoming us to town with his awesome cast iron pizza specialty and gave our Sophie treats while we were there). We had fun at trivia night at the Black Mountain Ale House and had AMAZING crepes at La Guinguette. Do NOT hesitate to get food in Black Mountain. Of course we visited Asheville a few nights too to walk our dog around. I love that both towns are so dog friendly. Thanks again Mary, so much for hosting us. I definitely cried on the last day when we were driving back home. I didn't want to leave! :( We will keep in touch, thanks again!
