What an incredibly peaceful location! We loved how the house was built within the existing desert vegetation. The desert scrub and annual plants were just beginning to bloom, adding to the ambience. (Just wear close-toed shoes on the nature trail! Cholla can sneak up on you if you're not paying attention). Bunnies and coyotes in the morning! The house is really spacious with a nice indoor-outdoor continuation. Our party consisted of two couples, each with a toddler. The house was large enough that sleeping babies were able to retreat from the hubbub. The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to cook in, but there are also good food joints in Joshua Tree (can we put in a plug for pizza at Pies for the People?) We enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop, with a great view to the north all the way up to the Ord Mountains. The proximity to Joshua Tree National Park is a plus. We will keep this property on our "likely to return to" list.
Awe inspiring new home. Beautiful scenery. Serenity. Jacuzzi spa.
