Needs work and attention to details. Might improve over time and with proprietor experience
Centrally located to the destinations we wanted to visit. Nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Apparently this was a new listing in HomeAway at the time and we were one of the first guests. That explains the lack of reviews when researching. Initial reservation communication was a little disjointed. Obtaining keys was a bit awkward. The entrance to the casita is via a back alley. It is very dark back there at night and there was no night lighting. The alley is narrow and you have to dodge obstacles such as bushes and town trash bins. The proprietor did call the town a day or so after we arrived and they filled in the potholes. Disappointed with the overall cleanliness. Silverware was not clean and there were no pads or scrubbers. The bathroom had some areas that would turn off those who are less squeamish. Top bed sheet was badly pilled and fitted bottom sheet had no elastic. We ended up turning the top sheet over to get a smoother surface. There was dust and cobwebs and a large dust bunny near a coffee table. At the time of our stay this place was not ready for prime time. We stayed 8 nights. Never saw the proprietor until the day before we left. We were never asked if we needed anything. We were told that we had everything we needed.
Mid-town, Well furnished, Beautiful!!!
