Any vacation rental that has directions that include cattle guards and gravel roads is likely to be a winner in my book, and this cabin does not disappoint. Marianne, the owner, is really nice, and the property is amazing. Friendly goats, horses, cats and dogs are sure to delight. Hiking with great views is on site, and songbirds crowd the ancient oak trees on the rolling golden hills. The cabin itself is rustic, but takes cozy to a new level. It's definitely rustic, so don't expect granite countertops and whirlpool spas. You certainly won't miss them - the cabin is perfect the way it is. If you plan on cooking there, be prepared to bring some supplies. There's some basic items available at the property, but you may want to pack items like salt/pepper, a cutting board, tin foil, plastic wrap, etc. Just the thing for couples looking to get away from it all!
