Nice cabin but....
The cabin was nice on the inside with everything you need for your stay. Stepheney was great to work with in making my reservation. However, I feel a little misled by the owner's description of: "The cabin sits high on a mountain at approximately 3100 ft elevation. Perfect for enjoying the cool summer nights and the beautiful fall foliage. It is secluded, however, there are neighbors close enough for comfort". Actually the cabin sits directly behind a cabin that looks like a red barn and two other cabins. If the elevation was 3,100 ft, you would never know because you are not high on a mountain. Out the back you see the side of a mountain, and in the front you see the red barn. Privacy was not an issue because I went in the off season, but it would be if there were people staying in the barn or the other two cabins. Parking would be an issue as well. The other problem I had was the narrow width of the spiral staircase going up to the sleeping loft. It is very steep and I was unable to get my suitcase up the steps, which left even less room downstairs. At $69/night, I felt I got my money's worth. It was just not what I was expecting after reading the owners descripton.
Cozy Cabin at a GREAT price*****
