A great getaway in South Carolina.
The pictures of the cabin and creek you see are quite accurate. However, they really can't give you the "feel" of actually staying there. The creek is beautiful and it was nice to wake up in the morning and go sit on the porch and enjoy it. It doesn't take much for this area to make you forget about everything else and just enjoy the time you have there. The owner, Jimmy, was polite and came to greet us as we arrived. He answered all the questions we had and told us not to hesitate to ask if we had more. The location itself isn't near much civilization so you won't be getting cell phone service. There is a phone in the cabin if needed. The cabin has Dish and internet too, so you aren't completely cut off from the rest of the world. I found it rather relaxing to be somewhat "off the grid" though. There is no shortage of things to do if you enjoy nature. Table Rock and Caesar's Head provided more than enough trails for the few days we had there. There are several other scenic areas to enjoy as well. We loved our stay and would definitely come back again.
