Great family community. Gorgeous home.
The residence and property were wonderful. Super clean place, gorgeous modern furniture, and comfy beds. I never sleep well when I'm away, but they had nice mattresses, so I slept great. There was a nice distance between the two adult bedrooms, so the couple we stayed with had their own living space and we had ours. We had toddlers running around and the furniture was high enough and spread out so that there were no accidents with them getting hurt. The community was even nicer than we expected. The pictures of the kids pool/water play area is better in person than in the pictures. It's large and far enough away from the adult pool that we didn't feel like our kids were annoying anyone. We took long walks every morning and night around the grounds where you would see tons of ducks and turtles eating and sunbathing. When you travel with kids you want them to have a good time, but you also don't want to feel like you are impeding on others' good times. I would say the best part about the community was that everyone we came in contract with was super friendly and made us feel welcome. There is a lot of space in the area so nothing was overly crowded, and we were there on 4th of July weekend so you know it was busy. You are within walking distance from the nicest beach area. We say online that it is actually voted better than the Myrtle Beach area. We did both, and I would agree that the Surfside Beach was better because it was less crowded. My only one teeny tiny recommendation is to leave more toilet paper and garbage bags. There were two garbage bags and two rolls of toilet paper. No paper towels. We left any leftovers that we bought for the next people. Besides that, everything you need is there. Tehy were very generous with leaving games, beach stuff, towels, etc. I highly recommend this place, and I'm a picky mom. :) We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again for sharing your home.
