Tiny apartment in poor condition
We stayed in this apartment (unit 15) for 4 days - a family of 3, two adults and a child. First off I have to say that we traveled extensively throughout the world and stayed in private apartments many times, including in small studios in Europe but we have NEVER seen a smaller one-bedroom apartment. It says it sleeps 5 but in reality I would not try to fit more than 3 people there unless you want to be very uncomfortable. The shower cabin is so tiny that my husband (average height and weight, very fit) could barely fit in it and I (5 ft petite woman) could not fit in it with my child to be able to shower him, he had to shower alone, which was a huge problem. The bedroom was pretty much taken up by the bed and the dresser and we could barely fit in one of our suitcases, leaving others in the hallway. The kitchen was basically non-existent, there is NO counter space to speak of, the "efficiency" electric stove takes forever to boil water, which made cooking foods a huge ordeal and we had to eat out most of the time to avoid dealing with this "kitchen". The apartment was not clean, there was a lot of dust in the corners and dog hair everywhere (despite the fact that we were charged hefty cleaning fee), so if you have any sort of pet or environmental allergies I definitely would not advise staying here. Also the apartment is effectively below ground and the bedroom window could not be opened due to the snow on the ground. The condo complex is poorly built - the walls are paper-thin so we could hear the conversations of our neighbors and even them opening and closing doors. The only positive thing was closeness to the mountain and having the bar/restaurant very close by, which we have not used. The verdict: unless you absolutely have to stay in an "apartment" I highly recommend renting a room at one of the surrounding B&B's instead.
