Quiet and peaceful place in the uplands
We enjoyed this quite place in the uplands. It had a mountain cabin feel with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. On clear nights, the star gazing was among the best I've seen. The owners were helpful and accommodating. They recommended local sightseeing and restaurants - Grandma's Coffee was one of our favorites. We stayed in Kula in late February, so the nights were chilly. While there is a small space heater that you can move from room to room, the house was quite cool in the mornings. Be sure to pack warm clothes for early sunrises, especially if you choose to drink coffee on the front porch (a nice way to start the day if Grandma's Coffee feels too ambitious). Overall, this was a pleasant escape from the hectic lives we lead on Oahu. We'd stay here again!
