Stream side, tidy, coqui surrounded apartment.
This VRBO was neat and tidy and well maintained. It actually was better than the pictures portrayed. By looking at the outside of the building I was a little concerned when we drove up, but pleasantly surprised when we stepped in. Comfortable beds, lots of towels and hot water. Great set up on the configuration of the one and a half baths. Nice view out the windows at the stream-side vegetation. Easy walk to downtown for meals. In the kitchen there was no dish soap, no pan to boil water or boil anything in. The lighting in the dinning room and living room was lacking and there was no place to sit and read. No instruction with the TV so it was impossible to figure out even the basics. I sent an email to the owner asking for help with the TV and he never answered my questions. One bar of soap for the bathrooms. The coqui frogs are as loud here as anywhere in Hilo, so if you're not aware of that it could be difficult. I would tell friends about this place as it is reasonably priced. Volcano National Park is defiantly worth exploring.
