Wow! Marvelous view!
We pulled into the driveway and were immediately impressed by the huge deck and the beautiful view, which could be seen from the panel of tall windows across the front of the spacious open concept beach home. Indeed, my first impression was one of light and space. And then looking outside to the water and the rocks right below the deck. Definitely a wow factor there. And the kitchen! Loved that big island. The fridge could have been bigger as the six of us in our group had all brought food and we crammed it full but there was a lot of room to move around and cook and there was a gas stove so cooking was easy. Of course, there was a nice barbecue as well. The bathrooms were lovely, two huge bath tubs and nice and clean as was everything. You could easily share this place with 2 couples and a child or 3; there is a master (with a killer view of course), another room with a queen bed and a room with bunks that would be perfect for kids. The location was good, close to the Wild Pacific Trail and a couple of nice hotels where there was activity and dining. The town of Ucluelet was within pretty easy walking distance. The wild life was great; we saw lot of deer right in the yard and eagles and herons out on the water and, oops, I almost forgot the whales! All in all, we had a great time, very relaxing and felt very private. The experience was definitely worth it. I will be back.
