Relaxing time in Vermont
A fine trip and fine property to vacation at. Arrived Sat and stayed four nights until Wed. Property includes 2 large bedrooms, full eat in kitchen and cozy living room with 55" big screen TV. Perfect for lounging or cooking. Bedrooms were clean and spacious and mattresses were one of the few that I have gotten a good nite of sleep on. Fully equipped w/ cooking implements and laundry. Michelle met us on arrival and was warm and helpful. Property is located next to the lake and well away from the hustle and bustle. Great location to relax and enjoy waterfront view. Bonus is a wonderful patio area to dine al fresco where you can see the water and enjoy the sunshine. Water is steps away, all you have to do is cross the road and take advantage of the water front part of her property. Good place to make a fire and enjoy the night time stars. Mosquitoes are plentiful at nite, but hide away during the day. Attractions wise, good amount shopping in Burlington about 45 min away including bargains at US Costco. Groceries wise, you'd be wise to stock up as nearest full size market is about 30 min way, but there is a local store with wine and basics about 5 min away. Otherwise plenty of state parks with swimming, biking, hiking minutes away. A good number of small towns to explore as well including St. Albans about 40 min away. You wont' run out of things to do over a week. We are planning to return for a full 7 days next time.
Very nice dog-friendly house right on Lake Champlain! Nature, fresh air, BBQ!
