Nice but could use some updating.
My husband and I vacationed here with my mother. This was her room but we had to switch because the beds were too soft for her. They were ok for us but are definitely needing replaced. The bathroom is also pretty small (especially after seeing mother's on the floor above). It was nice to have a kitchen, couch, wardrobe to hang clothes, beach towels and I believe they had a beach umbrella also. Unfortunately, we were there just as hurricane Joaquin moved north just off the coast and there was rain for the first few days. The Caravelle has a nice hot tub and pool on the 7th floor and the pool and spray park area on the ground level looked very nice for kids but was closed for days due to rain while we were there. The only problem with this was you could not access the beach then without walking all the way around the other side of the building...however then due to the rain the path to the beach was under water for days so we then had to go to the next building to get to the beach. Just hard on mom who has had knee surgery. Overall we had a great time and would definitely visit the Caravelle again…and if the beds replace even this condo again.
Beautiful condo @Caravelle Oceanfront Resort, Full Kitchen, sleeps 6
